FAQ

Our chocolates are best consumed within a month of purchase! Dragee products have a 9 month shelf life (sometimes longer!) so you should be well within the window of freshness if you consume them within one month.

Store in a cool, dry place — ideally between 55-65F. This could be in a cool room, wine fridge, or if necessary, the vegetable compartment of your refrigerator. If storing in a refrigerator, please keep chocolates in a tightly sealed container (the dragee tubes are fine). Remove from fridge about 15-20 minutes before eating.

While none of our products can technically be labeled “vegan,”  our dark chocolate products (such as the Dark Chocolate Raspberry Almonds, Dark Chocolate Pecans and Dark chocolate Hazelnuts) only contain trace amounts of dairy from the facilities they are processed in. They also use a vegan confectioner’s glaze, unlike our other products. So depending on the strictness of your vegan diet, these may be possible options for you. All of our ingredients are posted to each product page.

We only use one kitchen to produce all our products, so all products may contain trace amounts of nuts, soy, milk, egg, and gluten. All of our ingredients are listed on each product page with allergens clearly noted.

Local pickup at our home in the Oakland hills is possible and you can select this option at the check out page. Please email sweets@shrineofferings.com to coordinate a pick up time.

All of our sweets are produced and packaged by Waleed (though he sometimes enlists Monica’s help)  in our licensed home kitchen. We have no other employees, are not a storefront, and our production capacities are limited for now. We will do our best to maintain stock of the most popular items.

We are open to discussing custom orders and can even create custom labels for larger orders. If you have an idea you’d like to discuss, please email us at sweets@shrineofferings.com

There are a few reasons why we cannot ship prints and sweets together: First, we currently cannot ship sweets internationally. Second, sweets often require ice packs to keep them cold while in transit, which could potentially damage anything made of paper. Third, sweets require expedited (and more costly) shipping services in order to ensure their safe delivery, while prints can be shipped using more cost efficient services. To avoid complications, we have opted to ship them separately until further notice.
